Our outdoor saunas turn a corner of your backyard, patio or deck into a place you'll use all year. Choose from cedar barrels, cabins and modern designs made to order by LeisureCraft and Orivon, or Golden Designs traditional and hybrid saunas that are in stock in California. All ship free to the contiguous US from the manufacturer, in sizes from 1 to 6 people.
Barrel saunas are the classic round design. The curved shape uses interior space efficiently, and the LeisureCraft Tranquility MP adds a front porch for cooling off between rounds. See barrel saunas.
Cabin saunas have square walls, windows and more headroom. The LeisureCraft Georgian Cabin adds a 48" changeroom, so you can change and cool down before and after a session.
Modern saunas like the LeisureCraft Luna use rounded corners for a contemporary look. The Luna is electric only.
Orivon Auris saunas are built from natural red cedar, in a 1–2 person (Auris One) or 3–4 person (Auris Two) size.
Golden Designs traditional and hybrid saunas are in stock in California. The Bergen and Kaskinen pair an all-weather exterior with a Canadian Red Cedar interior, and the Carinthia is built from Canadian hemlock. The Bergen uses an 8 kW Harvia stove, while the Kaskinen and Carinthia are hybrids that add full spectrum infrared panels. They ship in cartons on a pallet rather than in one long crate. Size it by how many people will use it at once. A 1–2 person sauna suits one person stretching out or two people sitting. For family or friends, choose a 2–4 person or up-to-6-person model. Check the interior dimensions and bench layout on each product page, then compare the exterior footprint with your spot.
Electric heaters are the most popular choice. They're sized in kilowatts to match the sauna, and each product page lists the recommended size. They must be hardwired by a licensed electrician. Wood-burning heaters need no electrical hookup, just a chimney, safe clearances and a check of local codes. Most of our outdoor saunas come as a ready-made package with a matched electric or wood heater.

Golden Designs outdoor saunas are in stock in California and usually ship within 4–7 business days. Orivon Auris saunas ship in about 15–65 business days. LeisureCraft saunas are made to order in Ontario, Canada, and each product page shows an estimated build date. We confirm your ship date before your order is placed.
It depends on the crate. The Luna's 84" crate qualifies for liftgate delivery to the curb. The Tranquility MP (10 ft) and Georgian Cabin (12 ft) crates are too long, so plan on a forklift with fork extensions, a terminal pickup with a trailer, a tilt-tow truck, or a crew unpacking the crate on the truck.
A solid, level base: a concrete pad, patio stones or pavers, or a deck rated for the weight. Weights are listed on each product page.
Yes, on the Tranquility MP, Georgian Cabin, Auris One and Auris Two. The Luna is electric only. Wood heaters must follow local codes and required clearances.
Orivon Auris saunas carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty. LeisureCraft saunas carry a 5-year residential limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship (replacement parts; labor and installation not included). Heater warranties follow the heater manufacturer. Golden Designs coverage varies by model; ask us before you buy.
LeisureCraft freight orders are final sale once they're placed with the manufacturer. That's why we confirm sizing, delivery and site prep with you first.
